My name is TC, and I would like to change the world. It's impossible for one person to change the world, but if everyone who reads email commits to making a change, than I believe we can do this.
Let's unite, everybody. Let's unite like Voltron (the Voltron with the Lions, not the one with the Cars; that one sucked). There's so much going on in this crazy world, it's hard to pinpoint which issue to tackle first. Between our troops being slaughtered for no damn reason in Iraq, and the weather declaring war against all mankind, I don't know where to begin. That's why I need all of your support out there. Together we can tackle these issues, one by one. Are you with me? ARE YOU WITH ME??? LET'S DO THIS!!!
First of all, I'd like to talk to the parents for a minute. Parents, the way you raise your children is the root of all of this craziness going on. What this generation needs most are loving, nurturing, caring, concerned, visible, mentally stable, honorable PARENTS. They don't need parents who will go to their schools and attack other students and teachers with them. They need parents who will teach them right from wrong. They need parents who will teach them respect and how to carry themselves when they are out on their own. Parents, please know that I ride the Metro everyday and will smack the SH*T out of your bad azz teenagers if I have to. Thank me later. Seriously though, we must raise our children the right way, because they are the future, and the way things are looking now, they will need every ounce of love, common sense, and nurturing that we can possibly give them.
If we are going to change the world, we have to change who our children look up to. I am a big fan and supporter of Barrack Obama. I think we need more Black leaders who speak eloquently and stand for something other than 'repping their hoods.' We must take the focus off of "trap boys" and "dope boys" and start supporting our Black brothers and sisters, who have an education and who are trying to work with us to uplift our race and take us all to a better place in the world. I have nothing against Lil' Wayne, and I'm sure that his leather is really soft, but I'd rather hear my son quote Tavis Smiley than him. No offense, Birdman Jr. I'd rather my little cousin get into college on an academic scholarship than a football scholarship. I'd rather my daughter want to grow up to be a doctor than a video vixen. Let's work on our character and our values, because until we as a people can get ourselves together, we can't be taken seriously by anyone else. We'll all just be a bunch of "nappy headed hoes" who call each other names and "make it rain"in strip clubs.
You know how Justin said he was bringing sexy back? Well I'm bringing DECENCY back. Our community is plagued by infidelity, jealousy, insecurity, ignorance and disrespect. I heard R. Kelly on the radio the other day talking bout "Don't bring your girl to the club, cause I'ma flirt." WTF??? If you are in the club, and there are a hundred girls all around you, why flirt with the one who is CLEARLY in there with her man? Kells is gonna get some poor dude beat DOWN for winking at the wrong dude's girlfriend at the club. Not to mention that R. Kelly is a damn PEDOPHILE but he makes good music and cool remixes, so he's cool until he pisses on a 14 year old in YOUR Family. Huh man.
I'm not going to preach anymore to ya'll, but best believe that you'll be hearing a lot more from me, because I feel like the older I get, the more I am responsible for writing pieces like this to open peoples eyes and help us all see things as they really are. I have a few things to say before I sign off though:
- Sanjaya is the AntiChrist, and if you let him win American Idol, then we are all doomed to die. And I'm not impressed by his hair, "that ain't nothing but a ultraperm!"
- Is RichBoy a crack baby? Ok that was mean, but dude's forehead...man.
- My prayers go out to all family and friends of those who were injured and/or wounded in the VA Tech murders yesterday. Just another reason that we all have to pull together to make this world a better place.
- Whoever leaked those x-rated pics of a certain DC Go-Go Band member out on the internet, I think you are a coward b*tch, and I hope Karma hands you a full plate of what you deserve.
- VH1 reality shows are killing the human race, one episode at a time and dammit, I CAN'T STOP WATCHING!!!!!!!
