Since the beginning of time there has been a power struggle between men and women. As soon as Eve questioned Adam's manhood and he bit into that apple, the gender battle has been on and poppin (I bet Eve was a redbone!). Lately, there seems to be a new war being fought: the war of seeing who can spend the most time in front of a mirror!

Men are becoming more obsessed with their clothes and their looks than ever before, and it's reflecting in their everyday behavior. I have worked at parties that had hundreds of sexy ladies present and watched guys ignore them and stay huddled up with their boys all night. Is this what's hot in the streets nowadays? Are men the new women? Let's look at the evidence and you can judge for yourself....

1)Sensitivity: As soon as Ralph Tresvant informed women that they needed a man with, "sen-si-ti-vi-ty," men have been trading their macho swagger for a smoother look. This is understandable, especially since every man isn't a real "alpha male" type of guy by nature. However, with the emergence of dudes like Babyface (lost his wife to Eddie) and Johnny Gill (lost Eddie to Babyface's wife) you can barely make the distinction between a super smooth guy, and a gay dude. No homo.

2) I praise Black Women for raising our children by themselves. This is why they are the queens of the earth and should be treated with the utmost respect and dignity. However, when little boys are raised without a man in their lives, they feel it. I'm not saying that all little boys who grow up without their dads are going to grow up to be metrosexuals, I'm just saying that when it's time to fight and lil Ray Ray starts taking off his diamond stud earring and starts windmilling...yeah.

3) Let's talk about appearance. If I see one more grown ass man in some pencil jeans, I'm going to go crazy. If men could get yeast infections, then every young dude that I see walking around Union Station on my lunch break is gonna need some Monistat 7. I was looking at pictures on some *other* promoters websites, and the MEN look like they had on more lip gloss than the women! WTF? Don't get me wrong, I know that men are supposed to keep themselves up, but it's gotten to the point where dudes are starting to go to the restrooms in TWOS. Not cool. I blame H&M and BET. Oh and by the way, Lil Wayne, that is NOT a duffel bag, it's a damn purse. No wonder you were kissing Birdman and calling him your "daddy."
